Coronation Street's Lauren Bolton star says 'life's short' after being left 'gutted'

Coronation Street star Cait Fitton has said 'life's short' as she shared a moving message in response to the death of Liam Payne. The actress took to social media in the wake of the former One Direction star's tragic death, aged 31.

According to police in Buenos Aires, officers were initially responding to reports "of an aggressive man who may have been under the effects of drugs and alcohol".

The soap star, who is known for playing Lauren Bolton in ITV's Corrie, has since returned to social media with a moving message which read: "If you're able,HUG HIM, HUG HER, TELL PEOPLE YOU LOVE THEM". Alongside a video of Liam speaking about his struggles, she added: "Life's too short to waste a second," adding a pink heart emoji.
