Coronation Street's Tim star leaves co-star wife 'crying' over unrecognisable appearance

Coronation Street's Joe Duttine left his co-star wife 'crying' as he was seen looking pretty unrecognisable. The actor would have left fans doing a double take in the street despite being well known for playing Tim Metcalfe in the ITV soap.

Marking the recent Halloween festivities, Joe's wife Sally Carman-Duttine, who fans will know for playing Weatherfield's Abi Webster, took to social media with a snap of the pair showing how they celebrated the occasion.

Sally looked brilliant in a yellow and blue Minions costume while Joe appeared alongsdie her as the Despicible Me franchise's protagonist Felonius Gru.

Joe could be seen sporting a dark jacket alongside the character's trademark black and grey scarf. But it was the addition of dark eyebrows and a long fake nose that made him look totally different.

Captioning the snap of the pair in a post on Instagram, Sally wrote: "Date night #datenight." And her Corrie co-stars were quick to respond.

DS Lisa Swain star Vicky Myers said: "Brilliant." Julia Goulding, who plays Shona Platt, commented: "Massive Lol!!!! Smashing costumes!!" Kirk Sutherland actor Andy Whyment replied: "Love it," while Joe's on-screen wife Sally Dynevor responded with a string of crying laughing emojis.

In response to one comment branding their look 'absolute class', it is then when Sally admitted: "I was CRYING," alongside a string of crying laughing emojis.
