Coronation Street fans 'had no idea' as Lauren Bolton and Betsy Swain stars team up away from soap

Coronation Street fans said they had 'no idea' as they saw the show's Lauren Bolton and Betsy Swain stars together away from the cobbles.

The actors were seen in the past week celebrating Halloween together alongside some of their co-stars. Cait Fitton, who plays Lauren, and Sydney Martin, who joined the soap earlier this year as DS Lisa Swain's daughter, both took to social media with snaps of them marking the occasion.

It appears Sydney may have hosted an intimate bash at her home where she and Cait were also joined by co-star Liam McCheyne, who plays Dylan Wilson, Nina Lucas actress Mollie Gallagher, Elle Mulvaney, who is famed for playing Corrie's Amy Barlow, and Summer Spellman star Harriet Bibby.

Also in attendance was Max Turner actor Paddy Bever, Adam Hussain, who plays Aadi Alahan and Harry Lowbridge who recently made his first on-screen appearance as Logan Radcliffe, the older brother of Mason.

Captioning an Instagram post boasting a number of photos of them all in their Halloween outfits - which including Superwoman, Cupid and Gru from the Despicible Me franchise - Cait said: "Get in, Losers, We’re going Haunting."

But fans ended up being confused by the first photo of Cait, Sydney and Liam as they were joined by the latter's twin brother, Connor, and not all Corrie fans knew that Liam had a twin who was starred in the soap as well as they took it in turns to play a younger Dylan.
