Coronation Street's Jodie Prenger shares love for co-star after being issued 'stern warning'

Coronation Street star shared her love for her co-star - despite him issuing her a 'stern warning'. The actress is now known to viewers for playing Glenda Shuttleworth on the cobbles after joining the ITV soap last year as the sister of undertaker George Shuttleworth.

This week, Jodie showed she was still hard at work as she posted a picture of herself in her Corrie dressing room. The 44-year-old could be seen smiling for the camera with a giant roller in her hair, waiting for her bouncy bangs to be ready to get in front of the camera.

In the background, a rail of clothes could be seen with a white shirt hanging at the front with a message emblazoned across it. "GET OFF MY BACK," it read in large red lettering.

Captioning the post to her 38,000 followers, Jodie wrote: "Just a mere rock of a roller. I bloody love what I do @coronationstreet." And Tony Maudsley, who plays on-screen brother George, was quick to respond with a tongue-in-cheek warning.

"I wish you'd leave my bloody rollers alone! GET YOUR OWN!!!" he joked. Jodie laughed in response: "Sorry Ms Maudsley," while Dylan Wilson actor Liam McCheyne also responded with a crying laughing emoji.

But over on Tony's Instagram, the former Benidorm star shared a picture of himself and Jodie as they posed for a selfie while both wearing Santa hats and festive scarves and pulling funny faces. "The Shuttleworth pre-chrimbo catch up! Our Glenda popped round for a festive chin wag and a brew #George&Glenda #Corrie," [sic] Tony captioned the post.

And showing they were the best of friends really, Jodie
