Three Manchester United fixture changes made as Premier League announces TV picks

Manchester United have had three games scheduled for February moved by the Premier League for TV.

Erik ten Hag and his squad are due to take on Wolves, West Ham, Aston Villa, Luton Town and Fulham that month as they continue their top-flight charge. United finished third in the Premier League last season, but face a struggle to retain their place in the Champions League spots this campaign.

The match against West Ham at Old Trafford will now take place on Sunday, February 4 - three days after a trip to Wolves - with a 2pm kick-off. Away games with high-flying Villa and struggling Luton will now be held on Sunday, February 11 and Sunday, February 18 respectively - both inked in for the 4.30pm slot.

Sky Sports will broadcast those three games after the amendments were confirmed by the Premier League. They were each initially set to go ahead on the preceding Saturdays.

Similarly to their Premier League rivals, United have an action-packed December to contend with. However, after their elimination from the Carabao Cup and Champions League, they only have two games to play as things stand in January, unless Ten Hag and his players make progress in the FA Cup.

They will meet League One neighbours Wigan Athletic in the third round on Monday, January 8. By the time February rolls around, United will play five matches in 24 days against Wolves (A), West Ham (H), Villa (A), Luton (A) and Fulham (H), which is their only 3pm kick-off on a Saturday afternoon that month.
