Loose Women's Coleen Nolan 'can't stop crying' over daughter's decision as own big move supported by Ruth Langsford

Coleen Nolan has admitted she 'can't stop crying' after sharing her daughter's huge decision. The TV star was on the Loose Women panel when she explained that her 22-year-old daughter Ciara is going travelling and that she “doesn’t know” how long for.

Coleen, 58, told her co-stars Ruth Langsford, Janet Street-Porter and Linda Robson that Ciara had booked a "one way ticket" out of the UK, adding: "Her and her boyfriend, they’re going on the 18th, but they have no set date on when they’re coming back."

As the show discussed having an 'empty nest', Coleen went on to say that Ciara and her boyfriend have been planning the trip for almost two years. "They’ve worked really hard and saved up and I’m so proud of them both and her, but honestly, I just can’t stop crying," she admitted.

"But I’m trying not to do it in front of her because I’m thrilled and I’m proud because what an amazing thing to do. But it’s like losing my best friend." Ruth went on to say that Coleen will find it particularly difficult because Ciara helps "run her life" to which Coleen agreed, saying: "She is the mother of the house. My son text me the other day and went, 'This is going to do you good Mum because you need to grow up.'"
