Kate Ferdinand says 'it's official' and declares 'I love you' as she shares parenting confession

Kate Ferdinand has told fans 'it's official' as she gave a glimpse into her family life on Sunday (January 7). The former The Only Way is Essex star is currently navigating life as a new mum-of-two and step-mum of three after welcoming her baby girl into the world with her husband Rio Ferdinand.

Kate, 32, and Rio, 45, announced the birth of their second child, Shae, together on Instagram in July 2023. The couple, who tied the knot in 2019, also share two-year-old son Cree whist Kate is also stepmother to Rio's three children Tate, 14, Lorenz, 17, and Tia, 12, who Rio shared with his late wife Rebecca Ellison.

Following the birth of her daughter, the former reality star opened up about the complications that led to their newborn spending days apart from her parents. Speaking in detail about Shae's birth, Kate described her panic after her baby was rushed to NICU minutes after she gave birth, sharing how her daughter had been diagnosed with congenital pneumonia.
