Coronation Street's Jack P Shepherd says 'it's amazing' as he shares on-screen sister's skill and tells how they really met

Coronation Street star Jack P Shepherd has revealed his on-screen sister Tina O'Brien's skill she gets to use on set as they both shared how they really met - and it wasn't on the ITV soap.

Jack is famed for playing David Platt in the long-running soap while Tina has spent 24 years on-and-off playing Sarah Barlow - nee Platt. But while many will think the pair of soap stars met once they started working together on Corrie, with Tina already playing Sarah before Jack took over the role of David the following year, that isn't actually the case and they had actually already worked together.

Tina has revealed hat the pair actually played brother and sister in the BBC drama Clocking Off. "She walked in on the first day in the tightest white dress for the read-through," Jack recalled in a joint interview and photoshoot with Tina for Inside Soap magazine.

"She was only 15 at the time and I remember thinking, 'Is she in the right place?'" he added as Tina said; "Jack was mouthy - he still is. He was like a mini adult, although I do remember he was so young that he fel asleep on my knee."

Defending himself, Jack replied: "It was five in the morning on a night shoot. We'd spent the night escaping our burning house." But Tina added: "What an introduction for us. It's no wonder we wanted to do it for the rest of our lives."

But back to Tina's skill and when talking about a recent scene in which David was seen reassuring her that the family will support her following her affair with Damon Hay and her split from husband Adam Barlow, the actress said: "I'm hoping the producers might see something in that scene because we don't get to do
