Coronation Street star Daniel Brocklebank has said it was 'worth the wait' as he ditched the UK with his new beau. The actor couldn't have looked any happier as he shared a glimpse at his trip with his boyfriend Jordan Coulthard on social media.

It's been a few weeks since Dan, who is known for playing Billy Mayhew in the ITV soap, went 'Instagram official' with Jordan, who is a police officer and musician, after being spotted together at a festival.

The pair had enjoyed seeing Lionel Ritchie on stage at Lytham Festival at the start of last month with a number of his castmates where he bumped into Cheryl Ferguson, who is much loved for having played Heather Trott in BBC One's rival EastEnders. And she was the one to seemingly confirm Dan's new relationship as she shared a selfie of herself with the Corrie star and Jordan on Instagram.

But just a couple of weeks later, Dan let the world know himself that he is now all loved up and has been sharing little glimpses into his new relationship since.

In his latest update, the soap star revealed the two have enjoyed their first trip abroad together. He posted a video montage showcasing bits of their trip, which looked incredibly relaxing with sunloungers by the pool, trips to the beach and a few drinks and bites to eat in between.

Dan also shared a couple of snaps of himself and Jordan as they lapped up the sun as well as their quality time together. "Crete you’ve been amazing," the 43-year-old started to type in the caption of his post. "My first time abroad since 2018 & it was worth the wait," he added.
