Coronation Street fans share theories after baby bombshell - as identity of father 'sealed'

Coronation Street fans have been sharing their theories on social media after Daisy Midgeley learned she was pregnant on Christmas Day.

Daisy was left reeling in a scene this evening (December 25), as she took a pregnancy test, which was revealed to be positive. She hid the test when Jenny Connor tracked her down and asked for her help, also not telling her she was pregnant.

No further details of the storyline were revealed, although there is no doubt more to come. There could be a paternity bombshell on the cards too, after Daisy's fling with ex Daniel Osbourne and her romance with Kit Green.

Who is the father, Kit or Daniel? Might it even be someone else? Viewers have already been sharing their theories on social media following this evening's episode.

Corrie boss Kate Brooks recently dropped hints that Daisy and Daniel's love triangle with Daniel's partner Bethany Platt would continue. She also suggested mistakes would come back to haunt them, clearly the mistake being him cheating on Bethany.

So will Daisy's pregnancy lead to Bethany uncovering the truth? After all, Bethany will soon be leaving the soap when actress Lucy Fallon takes maternity leave.

Perhaps Daniel finds out about the baby and is
