Coronation Street fans can't get over 'mistake' as another exit 'confirmed'
Coronation Street fans have been rushing to respond to what they believe to be a 'mistake' as the fallout from Mason Radcliffe's death aired.
There were horrifying and heartbreaking scenes in the ITV soap earlier this week as Mason, played by Luca Toolan, became the victim of a knife attack at the hands of his own brothers, Matty and Logan.
Fans had seen Mason help DS Lisa Swain with her continued enquiry into her late partner Becky's death as she believed his siblings were responsible for her dying in the line of duty. After helping to get them arrested and questioned, Mason decided his time in Weatherfield was up.
He was seen trying to make amends for one final time with those he wronged while on the cobbles while also saying his goodbyes to those on the street who helped him, including Sally and Tim Metcalfe.
But Matty and Logan attacked Mason and Dylan as Mason tried to retrieve some family photos from their flat to take with him to Germany after accepting a job offer from Stu Carpenter. While they weren't carrying a knife, a terrified Dylan Wilson tried to protect his pal, only for his decision to end in Mason's horrifying death.
During the latest trip to Weatherfield on Wednesday night (January 8), Dylan finally admitted to his dad Sean Tully after he questioned his son's nervous demeanour in the aftermath of the stabbing. The teen admitted that the knife that was used to kill Mason belonged to him and he'd brought it to the scene of the crime.
