Coronation Street's Jack P Shepherd has love declared by co-star after real-life fiancée's sweet tribute

Jack P Shepherd's Coronation Street co-star has declared her love as she responded to his real-life fiancée's tribute as he celebrated a special occasion.

The actor, who is famed for playing David Platt in the ITV soap, was celebrating his 37th birthday on Tuesday (January 14) and his future wife Hanni Treweek took to social media to gush over her husband-to-be as she marked his special day.

She shared a string of snaps of the soap star, including a picture of them sharing a romantic kiss, one of Jack on the beach with one of their dogs at sunset, and enjoying relaxing breaks in log cabins with roaring outdoor fires.

Hanni then wrote in the caption: "The year I get to call you my husband. Happy birthday baby." Jack was quick to take to the comments section and joked: "Good god there’s some gorgeous pictures on there. Who’s he?! He’s stunning," before his co-stars rushed to share their best wishes for the birthday boy.

Georgia Taylor, who plays Toyah Habeeb in Corrie, said: "Aw happy birthday @jackpshepherd88 We love you." Maria Windass actress Samia Longchambon also commented: "Happy birthday @jackpshepherd88. Love ya." Sally Carman-Duttine, who plays Weatherfield's Abi Webster, wrote: "Happy Birthday Jack!"
