Coronation Street fans say 'I'm here for it' as they spot upcoming 'feud' after Cassie Plummer's Rovers show

Coronation Street fans think they have spotted an upcoming 'feud' - and they're not mad about it. Cassie Plummer was back on the cobbles during Wednesday night's (August 30) edition of the ITV soap and was seen visiting her son, Tyrone Dobbs, at work.

The newcomer, who only revealed herself earlier this month as the mechanic's biological mum after his grandmother, Evelyn, lied that she was dead, appeared a bit restless without much to do on the street amid her ongoing drug addiction recovery.

Tyrone appeared concerned that he was too snowed under to help keep her busy but Cassie soon made herself at home in the Rovers Return. She was seen getting on like a house on fire with Dev Alahan and Kirk Sutherland as they drank together, played cards, and shared stories.

After spending his lunch break with them, Tyrone went back to work but returning later, he was shocked to see his mum still boozing away and was clearly drunk and she offered to buy more drinks for her newly-made pals. "The night is young," Cassie told her worried son to which he replied: "Yeah, but we're not."

She then mocked the dad-of-two as he eventually convinced her to go home, turning to Dev and Kirk and saying the 'fun police' was taking her away. Back at home, Cassie appeared to be feeling sorry for herself, knowing drinking could compromise her recovery.

But her actions in the pub, with Mary Taylor keeping a close eye on her with Dev, has left Corrie fans wondering if a big bust-up could be on the cards between Cassie and Dev's partner Bernie Winter.
