Gogglebox's Pete and Sophie Sandiford fans say 'dunno about Turkey teeth that's Turkey face' as they show off new 'look'

Gogglebox duo Pete and Sophie Sandiford have left fans in a spin after showing off their new 'look' ahead of series 22. Channel 4 has already confirmed that the popular Friday night show will return on September 8, meaning viewers now have less than a week to wait.

But siblings Pete and Sophie, who are one of the show's most popular pairings, are already entertaining fans on social media. Posting on her Instagram account, younger sister Sophie shared a picture of herself and brother Pete with a rather questionable filter.

The picture showed the Blackpool pair with puffed up lips and large pearly whites. It wasn't long before the comment section descended into chaos.

One fan said: "Omg what is this filter that I’m seeing??" Another joked: "Something is different, did you guys get your brows done?"

A third said "Screaming" followed by six crying face emojis while another commented: "Dunno about Turkey teeth that's Turkey face."

Sophie has been quite on social media over the summer break but broke her silence on Saturday night (September 3) with the post which was captioned: "Me n r pedro ready for series 22" along with nail polish and three laughing face emojis. She also tagged in brother Pete.

The post has attracted nearly 30,000 likes and more than 500 comments, says Lancs Live. Other comments included: "The scary thing is, there are people out there who've done this and look like this for real and think they look good!"

Another joked: "It was you two I saw in Turkey" while another reacted saying: "Christ, I did a double take then. Look forward to seeing you next week in your normal unenhanced loveliness!"
