Cody Rhodes return: Former WWE star to complete shock return on Raw tonight?

Some fans believe that Cody Rhodes is teasing that he’ll be making his shock return to WWE on Monday Night Raw tonight.

It was reported just shy of two weeks ago that Cody Rhodes had left AEW, which Tony Khan confirmed shortly thereafter with an official statement.

That wasn’t even the most interesting part, as the report went on to state that Rhodes had been in talks with WWE, and was likely heading back to the company.

This was incredibly surprising given how Cody Rhodes was influential in the start-up of AEW, the first major competition WWE has faced since WCW in the 1990s.

Cody hasn’t appeared on any WWE show since his departure from AEW, but many believe that his return could be right around the corner.

Some fans even believe that the former Intercontinental Champion will be appearing on WWE Raw tonight, based on a story he uploaded to Instagram.

In his latest story, Rhodes quote lyrics from the “Turn The Page” song by Bob Sager, and fans seem to think this could be a tease that he’s coming back to WWE.

Cody, in his story, said that he’s “on the road again”, which many have taken to be an indication that he’s back with WWE and could be on Raw tonight.

Of course, it’s important to note that no one is reporting that Rhodes is 100% appearing on WWE Raw tonight, but many fans have taken his Instagram story to be a tease of his imminent return.

One would suspect that if Cody is coming into WWE, the company will want him back before WrestleMania 38, in order to stack the card with the biggest names and generate the most buzz.
