WWE WrestleMania 38: Spoiler on interesting title match planned for huge show

WWE is planning a rather interesting tag team title match for WrestleMania 38, it has now been claimed.

Naomi and Sasha Banks formed a surprise tag team during last week’s episode of Friday Night SmackDown.

It seems like the team is set for a rather big push, but that isn’t all that surprising given the shortage of female teams in the division.

In fact, a report has claimed that Naomi and Banks, despite only forming a team together last week, are set to be involved in the women’s tag title match at WrestleMania.

PWInsider is reporting that Banks and Naomi will challenge Carmella and Zelina Vega for the tag team titles at WrestleMania 38.

The match, should nothing change, will either take place on April 2 or April 3, and will be made official over the coming weeks:

For those who have asked after SmackDown, we are told Sasha Banks and Naomi vs. Carmella and Zelina Vega for the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship is officially slated for WrestleMania 38.

Over the last few days, WWE has confirmed that both Charlotte Flair vs. Ronda Rousey and Becky Lynch vs. Bianca Belair will both take place on night one (April 2) of the big show.

Taking that into consideration, if possible that the women’s tag title match will take place on night two (April 3) of the show so the women’s titles have a presence on both shows.

Fans had speculated that The Bella Twins would return for a tag title match on the show, but that doesn’t look like it’s going to be happening.

Of course, WWE has not made the match official yet, and the plans that the company has could always change before the show in April.

However, as of right now, the match is reportedly 100% on, so make sure you stay tuned to GiveMeSport for any potential updates on that front.
