Clinton Nsiala seals Rangers transfer as next step for 'exciting talent' laid out by Nils Koppen after Milan exit

Rangers have confirmed the signing of Clinton Nsiala from AC Milan as he prepares to make his mark at Ibrox.

Boss Philippe Clement and director of football recruitment Nils Koppen have been ramping up the rebuild with Jefte and Oscar Cortes penning deals this summer - and 20-year-old Nsiala will join the Ibrox rebuild from the Serie A giants. The France youth international - who has one Milan first-team appearance under his belt - will officially become a Rangers player on July 1 subject to international clearance and a successful work permit application.

Director of Recruitment Nils Koppen said on the deal: “We are excited to add a talented young player in Clinton to the squad. He joins as an exciting talent who we believe can develop and take his next steps under our manager, Philippe Clement, and his staff.

“We look forward to welcoming Clinton to Glasgow as we continue to shape the squad ahead of the 2024/25 campaign.”
