Christian Eriksen to Leicester City: Midfielder 'mulling over' offer as decision 'days' away
While it has been a quiet start to the summer transfer window so far for Leicester City, they are expected to make moves before the window closes.
Brendan Rodgers has spoken about a healthy shake-up of his squad at the window. As part of that the City boss is likely to look to add to his central midfield options, especially given the continued uncertainty over the future of Youri Tielemans.
Even if the Belgian does stay, City are likely to look to add to the area of the pitch. One of the names to be linked is Christian Eriksen, who is available on a free transfer after spending the last six months with fellow Premier League side Brentford.
His return to football after suffering a cardiac arrest during Euro 2020 has been one of the feel-good stories of the year, and his performances for Brentford have caught the eye. City have been linked with the midfielder since Rodgers showed an interest when the player was at Inter Milan back in January 2020.
