Andreas Pereira 'eyes Manchester United contract talks' and other transfer rumours

Andreas Pereira is awaiting contract talks with Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag, according to reports.

Speculation over the Brazilian playmaker continues to mount and Fulham have registered an interest in the player with an offer worth €13million reportedly laid down for the club and Pereira to consider. That comes amid suggestions Crystal Palace might yet join the race for his signature.

Pereira spent last season on loan with Flamengo after mixed returns at Granada, Valencia and Lazio. A permanent switch to Flamengo was on the cards before the Brazilian side pulled the plug, while the 26-year-old is awaiting a meeting with Ten Hag as he hopes to go on the club's pre-season tour.

Brazilian publication Globo Esporte suggest Pereira wants to define his future with Ten Hag. The same report also states Fulham continue to strengthen their move for the player.

Elsewhere, reports from talkSPORT claim United are set to make an offer for Ajax defender Lisandro Martinez. As part of their summer rebuild, it has been no secret that United want to snap up a new centre-back.

Jurrien Timber is their priority in that regard. However, with question marks over his future at Ajax still lingering, Ten Hag is poised to make a move for his defensive partner.

Martinez is wanted by Arsenal and the Gunners are understood to have had an opening bid rejected. It is reported United will now table an offer worth £43million including add-ons.
