Chester Zoo traffic chaos as people forced to turn around due to 'horrendous' queues

There were scenes of chaos at Chester Zoo today, March 17, as people were forced to turn around due to ‘horrendous’ queues into the wildlife park.

Customers have reported major congestion into the park with some who had pre-paid for their tickets having to turn around because of the delays.

Some people have posted on social media that they have been waiting up to an hour to get into the zoo. Bus services have also been affected in the area.

Another customer said: “We've pre paid for our tickets today, will we get a refund? The traffic is at a stand still all around the area”

As it is ‘Member’s Day’, every member can bring up to four people into the park for half price.

Replying back to them, a customer said: “Surely you know how many members you have and tickets have been booked? Should have said when you were sold out. The traffic
