Charges laid against Kaizer Chiefs after fans invade Stellenbosch pitch
Kaizer Chiefs are in trouble with the Premier Soccer League after Amakhosi fans invaded the Danie Craven Stadium pitch after their MTN8 quarter-final win against Stellenbosch last Sunday.

The game ended with the scores tied at 1-1, and the match had to be decided by a penalty shootout which Chiefs won 4-3 courtesy of a double Itumeleng Khune save.
But the Chiefs supporters took things too far when celebrating the victory by invading the pitch, before police could disperse the crowd. Players and officials were forced to run into the tunnel for safety.
PSL prosecutor Zola Majavu confirmed that Chiefs have been ordered to appear before the PSL's Disciplinary Committee this next Thursday.

"I can confirm that charges were laid against Kaizer Chiefs, and they will be appearing before the PSL DC this coming Thursday to answer to charges of a spectator pitch invasion in their match against Stellenbosch FC," Majavu revealed via the PSL's media department on Saturday.
"Once the DC has been finalised, I'll provide further details and the outcome thereof," Majavu added.
