Celtic transfer news bulletin as Andriy Lunin's WIFE sets Real Madrid exit non negotiable and former star ends return chatter

Andriy Lunin has dropped a hint on his future with Celtic circling as his wife responded to curious Real Madrid fans.

The Ukrainian shot-stopper has warmed the Bernabeu bench in recent seasons but now has a growing opportunity under Carlo Ancelotti after Real number one Kepa Arrizabalaga suffered an abductor injury in his right thigh. Lunin was deployed in between the sticks as Los Blancos comfortably saw off Braga in the Champions League with fans of the La Liga giants raving about the 24-year-old after he saved a penalty. Record Sport revealed last month that Lunin was under consideration for a swoop by Brendan Rodgers' men.

Celtic may look to bolster options in goal with number one Joe Hart yet to pen a new deal in Glasgow. It's the same situation for Lunin in Madrid as he is out of contract next summer, and normally behind Kepa and Belgian Thibaut Courtois in the pecking order. But a rare update on his future was delivered via his wife Anastasia on social media.

Intrigued Real fans wanted to know what the future holds for the young goalie, and she responded saying: “If there is a club that will let him play I think we will leave. If there is a club where he will be allowed to play then of course we are ready to move.”

Meanwhile former Hoops star Ryan Christie has ended any talk of a sensational Parkhead return by signing a new deal at Bournemouth. Reports in some quarters had linked the Scotland star with a reunion with boss Rodgers, but the 28-year-old, who made over 95 appearances in green and white, penned fresh terms until 2027 with the Cherries.

Christie took to his Instagram to share his delight at the new deal with the caption: "Another few years on the south coast."
