Celtic transfer bulletin as Mahamadou Diawara 'offer' made and Bazoumana Toure Hammarby stance set

Mahamadou Diawara has reportedly received a transfer "offer" from Celtic.

The 19-year-old Lyon midfielder made his breakthrough with the Ligue 1 outfit last year and reports in France claim that the Premiership champions have made a move to try and bring him to Parkhead. With Matt O'Riley on the verge of a record breaking switch to Brighton, Brendan Rodgers is trying to line up replacements, and may need more than one with Leicester City sniffing around Reo Hatate.

And Diaware seems to fit the profile Hoops have targeted in recent years, with plenty of time on his side to develop and the potential to offer a significant return on investment a few years down the line. His Lyon contract still has four years to run after recently signing an extension so it could take a hefty fee to persuade them to sell and they will know the Hoops have a tidy sum to play with after O'Riley's move is rubber stamped.

“I like to avoid saying who or whom there have been concrete offers for. But offers have come and we have declined. I don’t know if
