Celtic Park atmosphere blows Canadian TV presenter away after 'unforgettable' night against Dundee

A Canadian TV presenter took in Celtic's clash with Dundee during the week - and was left blown away by 'one of the best sporting atmospheres I’ve ever experienced.'

The Hoops seven on a night that relieved a bit of the mounting pressure on Brendan Rodgers. The Premiership champions rolled it back with a vintage attacking display, racing into a SIX goal lead by half-time before sub Daniel Kelly scored a seventh after the break. It didn't send them back to the top of the league with Rangers beating Kilmarnock on the night but it felt like a statement they aren't going away despite some poor recent form - and the Parkhead crowd met an impressive performance with a roaring response.

Enter Devin Heroux, a Canadian presenter and reporter who was in town to cover the World Indoor Championships at Glasgow's Commonwealth Arena. With obvious Canadian interest in Hoops defender Alistair Johnston, he headed to Parkhead during his downtime, and had the night of his life.

Alongside a glowing selfie of himself in the East Stand during the game, he tweeted: "That was one of the best sporting atmospheres I’ve ever experienced. It’s a 7-1 victory for Celtic over Dundee and the locals are going home happy. 60,000 fans. They have 48,000 season ticket holders. Remarkable. Unforgettable experience at Celtic Park."

Heroux specialises in curling and presents That Curling Show among other winter sports' coverage for CBS and Radio Canada. While in Scotland, he also had his first taste of Irn Bru (something he says he regretted at 7.30pm even if it was nice and 'flavourful').
