Celtic panic grips the Hotline as abysmal trait sends fans loopy but Rangers punters see bravado disappear

A weekend tale of Old Firm penalty kicks as Celtic have an eight point lead over Rangers and Hotline conspiracy theories abound.

Both clubs were handed late spot-kicks but neither set of supporters are happy with their current state of affairs. Scott, Gowers, Edinburgh, said: "There are two very common denominators in Scottish football, penalties being awarded to Celtic being one the other the amount of stoppage time added when Celtic aren't winning. This is an absolute disgrace especially after the Celtic board brought the game into disrepute by trying to bring up the number of penalties awarded to Rangers."

Celtic still couldn't beat a poor Motherwell team at Parkhead. With Celtic being awarded the most penalties in the league, eight to Rangers six, surely the mantra must now be, 'Penalty to Celtic!'."

Robert Pender, said: "I am not surprised why the Old Firm are awarded more penalties than others. They attack more and have the majority of possession. The ten minutes of added time in the Celtic game is a mystery though."
