BBC Strictly Come Dancing's Layton Williams demands Nikita 'tell the truth' as he assures fans he's 'not sitting pretty'

Strictly Come Dancing star Layton Williams demanded his dance partner Nikita Kuzmin tell fans 'the truth' during an appearance on It Takes Two on Wednesday (December 6). Host Janette Manrara returned with the latest run of the spin-off show which gives fans backstage gossip and behind-the-scenes action from the Strictly world.

Layton and Nikita joined the presenter on the BBC2 programme on Wednesday following their perfect '40' score on Saturday (December 2). The Bad Education star and his pro dance partner earned Craig Revel Horwood's first '10' of the series for their intense paso doble to Backstage Romance from Moulin Rouge! The Musical.

The West End performer showed off his high kicks and quick footwork skills before being dragged across the floor in splits and being lifted into the air at the end. After wowing all four judges, Motsi Mabuse gave him a standing ovation and said: "This is how you come back from a dance-off", and described the performance as "stunning".

Bury-born Layton and Nikita are now gearing up to perform not one but two dances in the semi-finals alongside Coronation Street star Ellie Leach and partner Vito Coppola, former tennis pro Annabel Croft and her partner Johannes Radebe, and EastEnders' Bobby Brazier and his pro partner Dianne Buswell.
