Another week of European football for Scottish clubs brought a mixed bag of results and some Hotline callers believe there's been reputational damage inflicted.

There's also a few calls for the Ianis Hagi fan club and a clamour for the frozen out Rangers man to be given a game.

Andrew Lamb, Fraserburgh, said: "Despite all the optimism surrounding Scottish clubs in Europe, the bottom line is that there was not one single win for any of our top four clubs this week. Aberdeen deserve praise for a good away draw and Lawrence Shankland is a much improved player but that's about it."

Chris Lowe, Yoker, said: "Hotline caller Henry Moffat says the Scottish league had respect down south until Rangers and Hibs took a doing in the last 12 months I’d like to kindly remind Henry that Celtic haven’t won a game in Europe in nearly two calendar years, prior to that they were regularly getting beaten by Hungarian dishwashers and a team made up of scrabble letters, which is some going for a team full of supposedly £20million and £30m players. I can’t see this changing unless they’re allowed to take Scottish officials into Europe with them."

Alan Flett, said: "Why should Hibs be embarrassed about losing 5-0 v Aston Villa? Given the financial gulf between the two clubs, surely the result was to be expected. What’s really embarrassing, is Celtic losing to the likes of Cluj, Ferencvaros and Bodo/Glimt and going out of three European competitions in the same season. Shameful!
