Cardiff City have certainly been busy in this transfer window, but there could well be some twists and turns to come ahead of deadline day.

The Bluebirds completed their 15th signing of the summer on Tuesday, snapping up left-sided centre-back Jack Simpson for an undisclosed fee.

It's the latest move in Steve Morison's ongoing revamp of the City squad, although there could yet be a departure or two before the close of the window.

Championship rivals Burnley have already had a bid knocked back for youngster Isaak Davies, believed to be around £2m plus add-ons.

It remains to be seen whether the Clarets will return with a fresh offer, but Morison has made his stance clear, insisting the Wales under-21 international isn't for sale.
