Cardiff City are back in action tonight, with Luton Town the visitors to the Cardiff City Stadium.

The Bluebirds showed plenty of endeavour, but ultimately couldn't find a way through against a well-drilled Preston and North End outfit at the weekend, a result that leaves Cardiff with a tally of just one goal in their last five games in all competitions.

It's a record that will no doubt leave many hoping Steve Morison can bring in a striker before the close of the transfer window on Thursday night, but the Cardiff boss clearly felt there was reason to be positive after that latest stalemate.

He clearly believes that good performances will soon be followed up with points on the board. Hopefully that will start tonight, against a Luton Town side that has mustered up just one win so far this season.

Joel Bagan is back in contention for this clash, but faces competition from new signing Niels Nkoukou, who made a bright cameo off the bench on Saturday.
