Cardiff City manager search Live updates as Dean Whitehead speaks on boss hunt and transfers
Cardiff City interim manager Dean Whitehead will conduct media duties again today ahead of the clash with Millwall at the weekend.
The Bluebirds are into the sixth day of their new boss search, with Mark Hudson having been sacked last Saturday following the 1-1 draw with bottom club Wigan Athletic at Cardiff City Stadium.
Since then Neil Warnock has been installed as the bookmakers' favourite for the position, but the veteran appeared to rule himself out of the running in a radio interview on Thursday.
He did, though, admit he would be willing to help the club in any way, urging them to appoint someone with experience above the manager.
In the meantime, Whitehead is in charge for the visit of the Lions, with points desperately needed to stave off the threat of relegation.
Stay tuned for live updates from his press conference and throughout the day.
