Candice LeRae WWE return: Former NXT star makes shock appearance on Raw

Candice LeRae returned to WWE last night, making an unannounced appearance on Monday Night Raw.

Since Triple H came to power, fans have speculated that LeRae could make her way back to WWE after her contract expired in May, and that’s now what’s happened.

LeRae joins her husband Johnny Gargano, who also made his return to WWE on the August 22 episode of Raw.

As noted, LeRae left WWE when her deal with the company expired in May 2022, similar to how her husband Johnny Gargano left when his contract came up in December 2021.

In August 2021, LeRae announced that she and Johnny were expecting their first child together, with Quill Gargano being born in February of the following year.

Her appearance on Raw was the first time she’s done anything within wrestling since having her child, with her match with Nikki A.S.H being her first since July 6 of last year.

Candice’s return generated a fantastic return from the crowd in Edmonton last night, as you can see from the embedded footage above.

As noted, Candice faced Nikki A.S.H in an impromptu match on last night’s episode of Raw, beating her fellow former NXT Superstar.

Triple H is wasting no time in getting Candice back into the ring, with WWE also announcing that Dakota Kai will take on the 33-year-old during next week’s show (October 3).

As of right now, there’s no word on the plans that WWE has for Candice on the main roster, but Triple H is clearly a big fan of her work.

Immediately after she appeared on Raw last night, fans began to suggest that the former NXT Women’s Tag Team Champion would be part of the women’s WarGames match at Survivor Series.
