Bryan Mbeumo to Man United transfer 'delay' explained as Ruben Amorim finds new target
Manchester United are continuing to face the prospect of having a busy summer transfer window.
United have already brought Matheus Cunha to Old Trafford when a £62.5million swoop was completed for the ex-Wolves star earlier this summer. Now, United are looking to strengthen their squad again with further new signings.
Ruben Amorim and key figures upstairs will be busy looking ahead to the start of the Premier League campaign - which kicks off on August 17 at home to Arsenal. United will therefore be looking to make further signings before the Old Trafford opener, while also being mindful of the September 1 transfer deadline.

An update has emerged regarding United's quest to sign Brentford star Mbeumo. United have now had two offers rejected for the Cameroon international, but are still determined to bring him to Old Trafford.
The i Paper have reported that Mbeumo is still no closer to joining United, with two other deals said to be playing a role in that delay. The report claims that Chelsea's move to sign Joao Pedro for £60million and Nottingham Forest star Anthony Elanga being the subject of a £55million bid from Newcastle is evidence of Brentford sticking to their valuation for Mbeumo.
As a result, the Bees are reported to be demanding a fee in excess of £60million straight-away for Mbeumo before the topic of add-ons is discussed.
The Manchester Evening News says: United are certainly determined to sign Mbeumo this summer, but it seems a deal is taking some time to be finalised. If Brentford's price tag demands are being effected by deals elsewhere, it's no
