Bruno Fernandes names Manchester United's unsung heroes as Erik ten Hag drops Kobbie Mainoo hint

Manchester United enjoyed the perfect return to domestic football on Sunday with a brilliant 3-0 victory over Everton at Goodison Park.

The standout moment came just three minutes in as Alejandro Garnacho wrote his name in United folklore with a sublime bicycle kick to give the Reds the advantage. The Toffees rallied in the remainder of the first half but the visitors held firm and pushed on after the break.

VAR awarded United a penalty on 56 minutes when Anthony Martial was tripped by Ashley Young. Marcus Rashford stepped up and converted before Martial added gloss to the scoreline with 15 minutes remaining as his delicate chip rounded off a resounding victory.
