Bruno Fernandes, Julian Alvarez and more FPL tips for Gameweek 12
A late Bruno Fernandes winner for Manchester United and Erling Haaland's shock blank for Manchester City headlined a crazy Gameweek 11 of Fantasy Premier League.
Haaland and Mo Salah were two stand-out captaincy options against struggling Bournemouth and Luton Town, respectively. City won by a canter but Haaland came off injured, without a return, at half-time while Salah also blanked as Liverpool slumped to a shock draw against the Hatters.
United talisman Fernandes actually provided some respite for those who maintained faith in the Portuguese star. He bagged a late stunner against Fulham, along with 11 points, to ease the pressure on Erik ten Hag.
But the chaos continued elsewhere as popular Tottenham Hotspur assets blanked in the face of a 4-1 thumping at home to Chelsea. Even worse, James Maddison went off injured while Destiny Udogie and Cristian Romero both scored -4 points for being sent off while Spurs conceded four times.
The MEN looks at two players to sign and two players to get rid of. City are always tough to judge because they are the best team in the league, however, only Haaland seems to be the one that you can trust to deliver returns throughout an entire season.

Just like last week, owning Man United assets will always be frustrating until the team can start to find some cohesion and a sustainable way of playing again. However, Fernandes is a man for the individual moments and he could well be a key player in breaking down a stingy Luton defence.
