Manchester United 'enquire' about Chelsea flop amid injuries and more transfer rumours

Manchester United are reportedly said to have enquired about the availability of former Chelsea forward Timo Werner.

According to reports from Sky Sports in Germany, the Red Devils are making inroads regarding a shortlist they have continued to gather information on, with the RB Leipzig striker said to be a preferred option. Benjamin Sesko, Lois Openda and Xavi Simons are all at presently keeping Werner out of the team, whilst it remains to be seen whether Marco Rose opts to allow the Germany international to once again seek pastures new when the January transfer window opens.
