Brentford boss sends 'price tag' message to Rasmus Hojlund as Manchester United agree transfer fee
Brentford manager Thomas Frank hopes fellow Dane Rasmus Hojlund will succeed at Manchester United despite the pressure of a high price-tag.
United finally agreed a fee with Atalanta for the 20-year-old on Saturday evening after weeks of extensive talks. They will pay an initial £64million to the Serie A side, with the potential for that to rise another £8m based on performance and success-related add-ons.
Hojlund has already agreed personal terms on a five-year deal that has an option of a further 12 months and did not play in Atalanta's friendly against Bournemouth yesterday. He will almost certainly be available for United's opening game of the Premier League season against Wolves on August 14.

“I know people who have coached him, he’s been with the national team and done well in the matches he played. I hope he will do very well at Manchester United, of course it's a big price tag and a new league.”
The arrival of Hojlund will take United's total summer spend to £162.9m, following the arrivals of Mason Mount and Andre Onana beforehand. Add-ons would take that investment to £179.2m. The Danish international will fill the final major gap in Erik ten Hag's squad, with the Dutchman keen to add goals to a squad whose 58 in the Premier League last season was the lowest of the top six. Hojlund netted 10 times in 34 appearances across all competitions last season and
