Brendan Rodgers urges Celtic to get 'greedy' for primary mission as players told substance must trump style

Brendan Rodgers says there's even more thrills to come from Celtic’s spellbinding wing pair Hyunjun Yang and Luis Palma.

The South Korean and the Honduran tore Aberdeen to ribbons as they maintained their fast progression under the boss. Palma set Yang up for the opening goal against the Reds and that set the tone as the duo ripped through the dazed Dons.

Rodgers was thrilled at the output of the duo and praised the way they have quickly adjusted to life in the Scottish Premiership and also to his demands. Yang’s goal was his first for the champions since signing from Gangwon and it’s now five for Palma since his switch from Aris. With Oh Hyeon-gyu also netting twice as a sub, Rodgers admits he’s excited at the progress of youth as he singled out the wide boys for the way they have taken on information and rapidly adopted it and variety into their respective games.
