BREAKING: Road taped off in Denton with emergency services at scene - latest updates
A Tameside street has been cordoned off while emergency services have arrived on the scene. Part of Town Lane, in Denton, is closed off this evening (August 24).
The Manchester Evening News understands police are leading operations at the scene, while firefighters and paramedics have also been called out. An image from the scene, shared with the M.E.N. , shows Town Lane cordoned off near to St Thomas More RC College and the junction with Circular Road, at around 6.30pm.
Further details about the nature of the incident are yet to be confirmed. GMP has been approached for information.
