BREAKING: Cordon in place at park with emergency services on scene - latest updates

Police have cordoned off an area at a park in south Manchester this morning.

An area of woodland at Chorlton Water Park is currently taped off. Eyewitnesses have reported seeing police officers, fire crews and paramedics on the scene.

Walkers are being turned away from the cordon. The nature of the incident has not yet been confirmed.
