LIVE: Huge emergency service presence on street after man dies in 'incident' at property - latest updates

Emergency services have descended on a street in Trafford amid reports of a serious incident.

Police and firefighters have been spotted at the scene near Larch Road, Partington, today. An ambulance has also been pictured on the residential street, which is off Wood Lane.

The nature of the incident has yet not been confirmed.

Greater Manchester Police and Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service have both been approached for further information.

Police have confirmed that a man has died following this morning's incident.

A spokesperson for Greater Manchester Police said:

GMP are currently in attendance to an incident in May Walk, Partington.

Sadly, despite best efforts of emergency services, a man has been pronounced deceased at the scene.

His family are aware and are being supported. A cordon remains in place.

The death is being treated as non-suspicious.
