Bojan Miovski on transfer dream as Aberdeen striker gushes over 'attractive' league amid Southampton speculation

Aberdeen striker Bojan Miovski admits he is dreaming of a move to the English Premier League if he can leave a lasting mark on Pittodrie.

Miovski's exploits since joining from MTK Budapest has led to a host of clubs chasing his signature with the 23-year-old netting 18 goals for the Dons during a rollercoaster season in the Granite City, with Premier League outfit Southampton named among the potential suitors. Having been signed by Jim Goodwin in the summer, he is now looking to fire Aberdeen and interim boss Barry Robson to a European place while making his claim for a regular starting spot with North Macedonia.

The attacker helped his homeland to a 2-1 victory over Malta to start their Euro 2024 group campaign on a positive note, and has now opened up on his long-term future. Ambitious Miovski has set his sight on playing in the one of Europe's top five leagues - but has put a move to England's top flight at the top of his wish list.

Miovski told Macedonian outlet Popup: "My goal is to continue in a club from the best five (England, Spain, Italy, Germany and France) leagues in Europe, and if I could choose one, it would definitely be the English Premier League. Every player's goal is to reach the highest level in football, and the English Premier League attracts me due to the fact that it is the most attractive and watched league in the world. I am a huge fan of Real Madrid, but from the English clubs, I follow and support Manchester United."
