Bojan Miovski lands Aberdeen FC love bomb from Neil Warnock as boss declares him 'best he's ever had'

Neil Warnock claimed Scottish Cup hero Bojan Miovski is the best striker he has ever had - but admitted the rest of his Aberdeen team need to take some of the scoring burden off his shoulders.

The North Macedonian hit a first-half double to see off Bonnyrigg Rose and book the Dons place in the quarter-finals. Miovski took his tally for the season to 22 and 40 in his Aberdeen career and Warnock praised him again, after calling him the best striker in the league and backing him to get 30 goals after his visit to Rangers last week.

I felt sorry for Duk because I had to move him after half an hour because I thought we were getting a little bit overrun in midfield so I wanted to bring Dante in. So I asked Duk to do the left role which is a thankless task at times but he did it without complaint.”

Warnock spoke pre-match and claimed he hadn’t dropped players but wanted to take a look at one or two. Many Dons’ fans
