Bojan Miovski claims no Aberdeen rivalry with Duk as transfer murmurings put out to pasture amid European hunt

Bojan Miovski wants on-form Aberdeen to seal third place in style and has insisted they will be targeting five wins.

The Dons go into the top six on the back of an impressive seven game winning streak under new boss Barry Robson. That has taken them to the brink of a European return and Miovski to clinch it in style by targeting wins against all their top six rivals, starting with tomorrow’s trip to Ibrox.

Miovski said: “It’s good. We are in third position, five points clear of fourth. It would mean a lot. This is our goal, we want to finish third and play European football. It will give us a big confidence. From the start of the season this was our goal so we have five more games and every game is like a final for us.

“Every game is important. Of course, this game against Rangers is the next one so for us we’re going to try and win every game until the end. We start from Sunday then every game.”

The Dons had last weekend off due to the Scottish Cup semis and the North Macedonia international is raring to go.

“We have had a lot of time to rest,” he added. “We didn’t play this week so if it’s a short period it is always hard against anyone. I think we are fresh and ready to go.”

Aberdeen got a big win last time out against Rangers at Pittodrie. It ended a long wait for a win against the Light Blues at home and Miovski accepts it will be even tougher in Glasgow. They, however, make the trip full of belief.

He claimed: “Of course, we have won seven games in a row. We know it is always difficult to play there but we believe in ourselves and are in good form.

“We now have more confidence. We know it’s been seven years since an Aberdeen win against Rangers at home but we believe and we showed it on the pitch.
