Benidorm resident reveals one place in holiday hotspot Brits should always avoid

Thousands of Brits flock to the sandy shores of Benidorm for their holidays, drawn by the soaring temperatures and cheap drinks.

However, a local has recently issued a warning to tourists about a particular area known for scams. Frank, a party organiser who goes by @frankthestagman on TikTok, recently gave viewers a tour of this specific area.

In his video, he drives past the indoor market and Mariano's, a 24-hour food store, before moving onto the area opposite the Flash Hotel. He pointed out a small police building with a playground next to it, stating: "This is where a lot of people get pickpocketed."

His partner chimed in, saying: "Ironically, it's also where they tell you, if you have an incident as an English person, such as a robbery, you have to go and report it there."

Despite this, they claimed that "half the robberies happen" in this area, dubbing the corner near the playground a "hotspot" for mugging. Frank concluded: "It's kind of crazy because it's right on top of the strip."

Usually, Frank is all about celebrating and promoting Benidorm, from its hotels to its party scene and weather updates. Despite this, he also uses his platform to caution people about potential dangers while travelling.

He emphasises the importance of staying alert to avoid becoming a victim of crime during their holidays, aiming for tourists to enjoy a safe and stress-free experience.

Since the video was posted, it has racked up hundreds of views, with many viewers quick to share their own experiences in the comments section. Some acknowledged that they had been targeted by criminals in the same area.
