BBC Strictly Come Dancing's Johannes Radebe 'misses' co-star as he leaves them 'obsessed' with transformation

Johannes Radebe admitted to 'missing' one of his Strictly Come Dancing co-stars after they admitted to being 'obsessed' with his transformation away from the ballroom.

Fans of the dancer will know that he took part in the BBC One dance contest last year alongside Gladiators star Montell Douglas. The pair made it all the way to the quarter-final of Strictly's 20th-anniversary series before becoming the 10th couple to leave.

They later returned to the ballroom for their starring moment in a group number during the grand final of the 2024 series in mid-December but it was the last time the pair would dance together as part of the Strictly bubble.

Since then, Montell's Strictly journey continued on the hit dance show's live tour but she was given a new dance partner in the shap of pro dancer Kai Widdrington as Johannes already had other commitments.

And those commitments are seeing him shine on theatre stages across the country as he made his theatre debut in Kinky Boots, in which he's starring as Lola.

Weeks after starting the musical's UK tour, Johannes has taken to Instagram with pictures and videos of him on the stage as the glamourous Lola and said: "That's me ebony, I am Lola [red heart emoji]."

Strictly 2024 champ Dianne Buswell was quick to respond as she gushed: "I’m obsessed with you," to which Johannes replied: "Miss you so much." Fellow Strictly pro Lauren Oakley also praised: "You are ALL of it! Keep shining bright, we are blessed that you share your light & talent with us. Truly special. So proud of you."

Johannes' former Strictly partners have also been showing their support. Annabel Croft simply commented: "Pure joy," to which Johannes typed back: "my darling you. X [red heart emoji]." Ellie Taylor posted:
