BBC Strictly Come Dancing's Pete Wicks addresses fans' 'worry' as he admits changed look
Pete Wicks has addressed concern from fans as he admitted a change to his look. The reality star and podcast host was quizzed by his best pal during the latest episode of their podcast, Staying Relevant.
I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here winner Sam said: "We're getting a lot of people who are saying Pete's lost a lot of weight, they're worried about you. I think you look great. You're looking real good around the neckline, no wattle."
To which Strictly Come Dancing star Pete replied: "It's Strictly. Do you know what it is? I'm just less swollen." He then quipped: I've got a jawline now rather than it looking like a thumb, which I think when I was drinking was the problem, it was just like a thumb in a wig."
Fans will recall that Pete just missed out on a place in the grand final of Strictly's 2024 series, after he and his professional dance partner Jowita Przystal became the eleventh couple to leave the competition during the semi-finals. But they did return for the grand final to show off one of their most iconic series moments in a joyous group number.
As the new year got underway, Jowita was seen reuniting with her Strictly co-stars for the Strictly Come Dancing Live tour 2025. She has since performed up and down the country as one of the arena shows' ensemble dancers after Pete didn't sign up for the tour alongside other celebrity contestants from the last series.
But as the tour came to an end last Sunday (February 9) with a two-show day, Pete was keen to show his support and headed to watch Jowita as well as the likes of Jamie Borthwick, Tasha Ghouri and JB Gill in action.
