BBC Strictly Come Dancing's Jamie Borthwick 'finally' getting what 'he deserves' as move on tour get emotional reaction
Strictly Come Dancing fans think Jamie Borthwick is 'finally' getting the credit he deserves while out on the road with his co-stars from the hit dance show.
The EastEnders actor is among the celebrities and their professional partners who have hit the road as part of the Strictly Come Dancing Live 2025 tour after taking part in the BBC One dance contest last year.
The string of arena shows kicked off earlier in January in Birmingham at the Utilita Arena and since then, Jamie has been travelling up and down the country alongside his pro dance partner Michelle Tsiakkas after they became fan-favourites during Strictly's 20th-anniversary series last year.
The couples joining them for the shows, which end this Sunday (February 9) have been JB Gill, Lauren Oakley and Amy, actress Sarah Hadland and Vito Coppola, reality star Tasha Ghouri, and Aljaz Skorjanec, The X Factor winner Shayne Ward and Nancy Xu and Gladiators star Montell Douglas and Kai Widdrington.
But it's Jamie and Michelle who have caught the attention of fans - and head judge Shirley Ballas - after a video was shared to the Strictly Live Instagram page. In the video, the pair could be seen performing their Paso Doble from the series to Malagueña by Connie Francis in front of the live arena audience.
Over the clips, Shirley could be heard giving her feedback and was clearly impressed as she said: "You have shown me backstage that you are that person I always desired to be from a young girl. You may not have won the mirrorball but in my heart you've won the technical ball and I want to give you the first ever technique book that I qualified on because I think you deserve it..."
Alongside the post, the caption read: "He’s our technique king! #StrictlyComeDancing
