BBC Strictly Come Dancing's Dianne Buswell leaves co-star 'crying' as she makes Christmas vow

Dianne Buswell distracted fans as she shared a sweet detail about her dad as they make memories together in the UK amidst her busy Strictly Come Dancing schedule - and it left her co-star all emotional.

The professional dancer is currently busy preparing for the BBC One dance contest's upcoming semi-final, which takes place this Saturday night (December 7), after she made it through to the penultimate week of the series with her celebrity dance partner Chris McCausland.

The semi-final will see the five remaining Strictly couples perform two dances each, with Chris and Dianne set to perform a Charleston to When You’re Smiling by The Blue Vipers Of Brooklyn as well as a Viennese Waltz to Nothing Else Matters by Metallica.

But amidst training for and competing in Strictly's 2024 series, Dianne is also making the most of having her parents, Mark and Rina, in the UK for Christmas.

Dianne's mum and dad are set to spend the festive season with her and her boyfriend Joe Sugg and were back in the ballroom last weekend to watch Dianne and Chris perform again after seeing their daugther perform live on the show for the very first time in seven years the weekend before the quarter-final.

Alongside a picture of her with her parents, she said on her Instagram Story at the weekend: "I'm so lucky [red heart emoji]. Thank you so much." She had earlier revealed they had all been Christmas tree shopping and alongside a picture of Mark and Rina alongside the trees she said: "The cutest humans [crying face emoji]. First ever real Christmas tree." Dianne then pointed out her dad's hat as she zoomed in on his face and said: "Also!!!!!
