BBC Strictly Come Dancing fans say 'that got me' after spotting contestant's emotional reaction to Annabel Croft exit

Things got emotional on Sunday (Dec 10) during the Strictly Come Dancing semi-final as Annabel Croft became the 10th celebrity to leave the BBC dance contest. The former tennis player and her pro dance partner Johannes Radebe narrowly missed out on a spot in the final after facing the dance off with Bobby Brazier and Dianne Buswell.

It came as the four remaining couples each performed two dances on Saturday night (Dec 9) in a bid to impress judges Craig Revel Horwood, Shirley Ballas, Motsi Mabuse and Anton Du Beke, as well as viewers at home. As last week's show didn't go to a public vote after Nigel Harman was forced to quit due to an injury, the scores from the previous week were carried over to this week.

Layton Williams and Nikita Kuzmin reached the top of the leaderboard with 116 out of a possible 120 after achieving two perfect 40 scores. Coming in second was Ellie Leach and Vito Coppola who achieved 111 out of 120, followed by Bobby and Dianne who finished with a score of 107, while Annabel Croft and Johannes earned 98 out of 120.

The viewer's vote meant Annabel and Johannes and Bobby and Dianne faced each other in the all-important dance off, with the winning earning themselves a place in the final. Annabel and Johannes performed their Viennese Waltz to Please, Please, Please Let Me Get What I Want by Slow Moving Millie while EastEnders star Bobby and Dianne danced their Quickstep to Mack the Knife by Bobby Darin.

It was then over to the judges for their decision, with Craig Revel Horwood opting for Annabel and Johannes.
