Supercomputer predicts exciting Premier League finish for Man City after win vs Luton Town

Manchester City halted a four-game winless run with a hard-fought 2-1 victory over Luton Town at Kenilworth Road on Sunday afternoon.

After heading into the half-time interval trailing by a goal to nil, City got themselves back on level terms just past the hour-mark through Bernardo Silva. Jack Grealish then powered them in front three minutes later to ensure they scooped all three points.

Victory meant City remained in fourth place, but they are now just two points behind third-placed Aston Villa and three behind Arsenal in third. They are also just four points shy of Liverpool at the summit.

After going four league games without a win prior to the trip to Luton, City's hopes of retaining their title crown were starting to be doubted by some, but they remain right in the thick of the battle. Just seven points currently separate Liverpool in first and Tottenham Hotspur in fifth.

Though it is shaping up to be a thrilling title race for the neutral, City, according to a specialist supercomputer by OLBG, which has calculated all of the results so far this season, analysed the trends of every club and then predicted the final position of every team, following a simulation that has been conducted 1,000 times for accuracy, are poised to retain their crown and win the Premier League title for the fourth season running.
